HVAC technician
Heating, ventilation, air-conditioning (and sometimes refrigeration too) are the main components of the trade. HVAC technicians repair and install both residential and commercial systems. Some technician are generalists and are familiar with a variety of systems while others specialize in either heating or cooling.
Who is a good fit?
If you’re mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand tools, HVAC might be a good fit. Technicians may work in homes and on job sites and need good people skills to interact with customers.
Education
